Why Sizing Matters More Than You Think
Sizing is the single biggest reason a press-on set fails. Not the glue, not the artwork, not the brand. Sizing. A press-on half a millimeter too wide creates a side gap that traps water and lifts by day three.
3 Ways to Measure Your Nails Accurately
Method 1: Paper Strip + Ruler (Most Accurate)
- Cut a paper strip ~1cm wide
- Wrap across the widest part of your nail (one-third up from cuticle, NOT at the tip)
- Mark and measure in millimeters
- Record for each finger
Most people aren't symmetric — thumb and ring often differ significantly.
Method 2: Flexible Measuring Tape
Use cloth or plastic tape. Don't flatten the curve — tape should hug the natural shape.
Method 3: Sizing Kit (Recommended)
Order with sizing kit. Lay 10 sample tips, place each against your natural nail. Find flush fit. Reusable for future orders.
Size Chart (XS, S, M, L)
- XS: 8–10 mm
- S: 10–12 mm
- M: 12–14 mm
- L: 14–16 mm

Common Sizing Mistakes
Flattening the curve. Undermeasures by 1-2mm. Measuring at the tip. Widest is one-third up. Ignoring asymmetry. Hands aren't symmetric. Choosing by 'feel.' Measure fresh.
Between Sizes?
Size up. A slightly wide nail can be filed to fit your nail edge, but a narrow one leaves side gaps and lifts. Short almond shapes run small, so size up there too.

- Index: 12–15 mm
- Middle: 11–14 mm
- Ring: 10–13 mm
- Pinky: 8–11 mm
