About Handora & Our Craft

Are Handora press-on nails really hand-painted?

Yes. Every set is painted by one of five trained nail artists in our studio using real gel polish, cured under UV light four to six times per set. No printing, no decals, no machine-finished line.

What materials do you use?

Salon-grade gel polish, soft-flex resin tips, UV lamps, museum-grade non-yellowing top coat. Same materials a high-end salon uses.

Where are Handora press-ons made?

In our Brooklyn-style studio in the United States. Every set is inspected by a second artist before it ships.

How long does each set take to create?

1.5 to 3 hours for standard designs. 4 to 8 hours for our most labor-intensive luxury and 3D sets.

Are Handora press-ons vegan and cruelty-free?

Yes. All gel polishes, top coats, and adhesives are vegan and cruelty-free.

Application & Wear

How long do press-on nails last?

Hand-painted gel sets last 2 to 4 weeks per application. See our how long do press-on nails last guide for the full math.

Can I shower, swim, and exercise with them?

Yes — wait 2 hours after application before water contact. Wear lifting gloves for heavy gym work.

What's the difference between glue and adhesive tabs?

Glue gives 2-4 weeks. Tabs give 3-7 days. Both included with most Handora sets.

Can press-on nails damage natural nails?

Sizing & Fit

How do I measure my nail size?

Use the free sizing kit included with your first order, or follow our sizing guide with three measuring methods.

What if I'm between sizes?

Always go down. A smaller fit flexes to conform; an oversized fit pops.

Do you offer custom sizing?

Yes, free. Leave a note at checkout with each finger's measurement.

Care & Reuse

How many times can I reuse a set?

5 to 10 wears per set with proper removal. See our care guide.

What's Handora's Magic Remover?

Can I commission a custom design?
